Preparation for membership:

Persons interested in church membership are expected to attend a Membership Class which is held in two sessions each month. The class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and a light supper is served. Child care is provided.

We cover these four topics:

What does it mean to be a Christian?
What does it mean to be a church member?
What does it mean to be a United Methodist?
What does it mean to be a Martha Bowman UMC member?

Reservations can be made through the church office or by calling John Horton or Bonnie Jenks at 477-1901.

Membership Commitment:

Those presenting themselves for church membership are brought forwaard during and publicly make the membership vows described in the Membership Vows link.
