Dr. John Horton is our Pastor of Evangelism.
Born in Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Horton received a B.A. from
LaGrange College, a MDIV from Candler School of Theology and
Dr. of Ministry from San Francisco Theology School. Dr. Horton
has served as a Pastor and District Superintendent in South
Georgia for over forty years. The pastor of Evangelism focuses
on reaching out to the unchurched and responding to people
who visit Martha Bowman, preparing them for church membership

Mrs. Bonnie Jenks serves on the Evangelism
team as Director of Membership. Bonnie is a proud wife, mother
of two and grandmother of four. Bonnie joined the staff of
Martha Bowman in 2006. Her professional experience includes
an administrative assistant at the Methodist Children's Home
for Children and Youth in Macon, Georgia and a Conference
Coordinator for the Lake Junaluska Assembly in Lake Junaluska,
