We believe strongly in both the warmed heart (personal faith) and the outstretched hand (active mission). We further believe that the light shines farthest abroad shines brightest at home. (Matthew 5:16)

Argument over whether mission should be local or foreign misses the obvious point that it must be both. God lays a particular heart calling on different people to engage in different areeas of mission. We affirm each should obey that call, whether local, national, or international. However, no one is called to do nothing! We can go, let go, or help go. (Acts 13:1-3)

Furthermore, we believe in partnering with other ministries - United Methodist and beyond - for blessing all God's people and for building up God's kingdom.
