Hope through Jesus Christ at the Crossroads
- Everyone needs hope (Hebrews 6:19). Someone
said, "You can live 30 days without food, 3 days without
water, 3 minutes without air, but you can't live 3 seconds
without hope."
- The hope every person needs is found
in Jesus Christ. We do not proclaim ideas but a
personal Savior (Acts 4:12). We need Good News, not good
views. Jesus didn't come to make bad people good, but dead
people alive.
- Jesus brings us hope at every Crossroads.
Martha Bowman stands at the crossroads of Bass and Forsyth,
where it has exalted the name of Jesus since 1901. But we
believe Jesus comes to meet us with hope at every crossroad
in life. (Matthew 6:33-34)

Save the Lost, Disciple the Saved, Alleviate Suffering
- Jesus himself stated, "The Son
of Man has come to seek and to save the lost."
(Luke 19:10) We affirm that Jesus loves every person. All
are lost and need a Savior. The bad news is that we cannot
save ourselves and are lost without a Savior. The good news
is that we have such a Savior and his name is Jesus!
- Jesus' last command clearly states, "Go
into all the world and make disciples of every nation..."
(Matthew 28:18) Jesus never told people to just believe
something. He always gave this simple invitation - "Follow
me!" He wanted committed followers - in a word,
disciples. He still does. Therefore, we are committed to
help believers grow to be strong disciples.
- Alleviate suffering is written
into the fabric of Scripture. God always cares for the powerless
and needy. "Religion that is pure and undefiled
before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and
widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained
by the world." (James 1:27)

Spirit Led, Lay Driven!
- God calls us to come help change the world,
and he calls no spectators. We believe that ministry belongs
to every person.
